How to open Paypal account in India ?

What is Paypal ?

Paypal is like a online bank or called as Payment Processor , when you earn money from online or any site on internet you have to transfer that money into Paypal account.You attach your bank account details to your Paypal account and then you can transfer money from your paypal account to your bank account in India and withdraw money using ATM.

If you don't have bank account still you can open Paypal account but your Paypal account will be treated as unverified Paypal account until you don't attach bank details on it.unverified bank account have certain limitation in sending and receiving money.

To open Paypal account you need a PAN Card and Email Id (Gmail,Yahoo,Msn or other).If you don't have PAN Card you can use your parent PAN Card to create Paypal account.If you are going to use your father PAN card then make sure use your father name while creating Paypal account and yes you can only be able to transfer money in your father bank account then because Paypal user account name and PAN Card name and User Bank account name must be match.Please provide correct information while creating Paypal account.

Here in Paypal there is no account number,we use email id in place of account number.

You can create Paypal account for free.There is no fee.

There is no need of any type of debit or credit card to open Paypal account.You can add debit card or credit later after opening account.,if you want to buy something online.But it's not necessary if you only want to receive money that you have earned online.

If you want to add funds from bank account to Paypal account then you need to attach credit card in Paypal account and only then you can shop online.Debit card doesn't work .Virtual Credit Card also doesn't work.

TO SETUP A PAYPAL ACCOUNT FOLLOW THESE STEPS

STEP 1 Go to the site www.paypal.com

STEP 2 Click on sign up button Then select country as India and select Individual Account.

Click ‘Get Started’

STEP 3 Fill the form completely

Here First Name is same as your PAN CARD NAME

MIDDLE NAME NO NEED

LAST NAME INITIAL OR YOUR FATHER NAME AS MENTION IN YOUR PANCARD

STEP 4 Click ‘Agree and create account’

STEP 5 Enter the captcha and click ‘Continue’

STEP 6 It will ask for Credit/Debit Number. YOU SHOULD NOT GIVE ANY NUMBER HERE.

But, click ‘Go to My Account’ link you see at the bottom of the page

STEP 7 Now, on this page click ‘Complete your tasks' in the red box

STEP 8 Now Provide PAN Number Click Start

Enter your PANCARD Number and click Submit

Step 9 Confirm email

Open your Gmail Account and check the mail from Paypal Account Click the Link and Confornm

Step 10 Add bank account

Add Bank Name, IFSC Code, Account Number, Name etc.

And click ‘Continue’ button.

Now you need to enter following details.

1 Your name must be match with your name that is mention in your PAN Card.Overall your Paypal account name,PAN card name and Bank Account name must be same.

2 Please enter your bank full name

Example State Bank Of India instead of SBI

3 Enter your Bank Account Number

4 Click on the check box to make your account auto withdrawal.It means when money will be received in your Paypal account it will be automatically transferred in your bank account within 2-3 days.You even don't need to make a request for sending money in your bank account by login Paypal account.

STEP 11 Then, click ‘Purpose Code’ link. You will see this page.

Select ‘Advertising and market research’

Done .. After 3 days Check your bank account Paypal has to verify your bank account and sent 2 small amounts like 1.09 & 1.16 credited into your bank account.

After see the bank statement, come back to paypal, login with your registered email id and password. And confirm your account by entering those two amounts in specified places.

Open your Paypal Acoount and Click My Account
